We are building a young, reliable crew in Vaasa. No experience needed — just show up, work hard for a few trial jobs, and there is a real contract waiting on the other side.
A word from Dane, the founder
I'm British and I came here from Spain after many years. I built this company on my own, one job at a time, with a van and a lot of stubbornness. I've had no government funding or outside funding — I've built everything alone and with the support of people close to me. Nobody handed me anything. What I did get, early on, was one person who took a chance on me — and that was me — and that is the whole reason I am able to write this today.
Now I want to do the same thing here in Vaasa. I am looking for young people who want to learn a proper trade: moving and relocation, landscaping and garden maintenance, property maintenance, and end-of-tenancy cleaning. Real work, real customers, real standards.
I am not looking for the loudest person in the room. Some of the best workers I have ever met were shy, quiet, or had been told too many times that they were not good enough. If that is you, please read on. Confidence is not something you are born with — it is something you build by doing a job well and hearing a customer say thank you.

Open to everyone
This is a community-minded programme, and it is open to anyone who can legally work in Finland.
- All genders welcome — moving, gardening, maintenance and cleaning all have a place for you.
- No previous experience required. We train you on the job, alongside someone who knows what they are doing.
- We work in English, Finnish and Swedish. You do not need all three — tell us what you speak and we will pair you sensibly.
- Selection is based on attitude, reliability and willingness to learn. Nothing else.
How the trials work
Before any contract, you do a short set of paid trial tasks so we both know the work suits you. You are never thrown in alone — you work with the team.
One large moving job
A family home or office. Teamwork, heavy items done the safe way, and how we keep a long day organised.
One landscaping / garden maintenance job
Grass, hedges, clearing and tidy-ups. Tools, safety and finishing a garden to a standard we are proud of.
One end-of-tenancy cleaning job
The detail work. This is where you learn why we get repeat customers and good reviews.
Each trial is a minimum of 3–6 hours — unless you decide it is not for you, in which case you are free to stop early. No hard feelings and no pressure.
What happens after the trials
1. Trials
Four short tasks across our services, so you can find out what you actually enjoy.
2. Zero-hour contract (0–30 h / week)
We operate as a casual employer. After the trials, you move onto a zero-hour contract of 0–30 hours per week. Hours follow the bookings and are agreed with you around your studies.
3. Growing with the business
As the company grows there will be opportunities for regular part-time and full-time employment, and for taking the lead on your own jobs and crews.

Questions people ask
Are the trials paid?
Yes. Trial hours are paid at the agreed hourly rate. This is work, not free labour.
Do I need a driving licence?
No. It helps, and we can work towards it, but you can join without one.
Do I need to be strong?
You need to be willing. We use trolleys, straps and technique, and we always work in pairs on heavy items.
Can I do this alongside studying?
Yes — that is exactly what a zero-hour contract is for. We agree hours with you around your timetable.
What if I try it and it is not for me?
Then you stop, with no hard feelings. You can leave a trial early if you know it is not right for you.
Which languages do we work in?
All training and jobs are carried out in English first, so your English needs to be good — but you do not need to be perfect, and we will never hold that against you. Speaking Finnish and Swedish is preferred and a real advantage, not a requirement.
How do I get to the jobs?
We travel together from Vaasa and within Vaasa. Vikby is the office and workshop location, and the boss's house is in Sundom.
